iqontree Builder Fellowship

Builder Fellowship

Build something real.

A paid, remote fellowship for people who would rather build than apply. Three to six months on products that actually ship — researching, experimenting, and getting things wrong in public, which is where the learning lives.

What it is

Not a training exercise. Not a ticket queue.

iqontree is organised around roles rather than headcount, and the fellowship is how new roles get filled. You will hold real work: research a problem nobody has answered yet, build the thing, and stay with it long enough to find out whether it survives contact with reality.

What we don't look at

Your grades. Your years of experience. Your résumé. None of it tells us whether you can think about a problem you have not seen before.

What we do look at

Evidence that you have built or investigated something because you wanted to know how it worked — and the instinct to keep pulling at a problem after the obvious answers run out.

What you get

Paid work on products that ship, a short line to the person making the decisions, and the room to be wrong while you find out.

Who it's for

If you are already building things nobody asked you to build.

You must be 18 or over and legally able to work where you live. Everything is remote, so where that is does not matter to us.

Apply

Tell us what you have made.

A repository, a write-up, a portfolio, a paper, a half-finished experiment — anything that shows you did the thing rather than read about it.

GitHub or GitLab is ideal, but a blog, portfolio, paper or write-up counts just as much.
